Polarized Nation

I stopped off @ B&H whilest in the city. What a amazing place. I overheard a woman telling her male companion "I can see why you'd want to come here--it's like going to a jewelry store or something for me". It's wall-to-wall gadget/toy/camera goodness. And then there's the product delivery automation system. It's a not-to-be-missed experience. Anyway, I picked up a polarization filter. Here's a first result of that effort.

We went to NYC over MLK weekend. We got caught in gale force winds on 42nd. It devastated the umbrella stores of the city. There were broken carcasses everywhere--in the streets, on the sidewalks, down the subway entrances. I saw one older homeless man on the train using the handle and stem of a longer one as a cane.
