Uptown
Besides the Paramount and the Fox, there are some other excellent examples of Art Deco architecture in the Oakland Uptown district. "For Lease" is the common theme. The earthquake of '89 nailed a lot of them.

this building i know, but i don't remember seeing the guitar neck sign before...beautiful building, didn't know the '89 quake was relevant event, that's when i moved to berkeley.
